About Midlife Compass
Midlife Compass is a free resource for women in their late 30s, 40s, and early 50s who are noticing changes they can't explain: broken sleep, weight shifting to the middle, bloating, brain fog, new anxiety, and unpredictable cycles.
What we do
We publish plain-language guides to perimenopause symptoms, built on published research from sources such as the CDC, the Study of Women's Health Across the Nation (SWAN), The Menopause Society, and the American Cancer Society. Every article lists its sources and the date it was last reviewed.
We also offer a free symptom check, and we can introduce you to an independent coaching program that works with women in perimenopause.
What we don't do
We don't provide medical care, diagnosis, coaching, or prescriptions. Nothing on this site replaces advice from your doctor. If you request a call, we share your details with one coaching partner and may be paid for that introduction.
How we write and update articles
- Claims are tied to a linked source, preferring government health agencies, medical societies, and peer-reviewed studies.
- Each article includes signs that mean you should see a doctor.
- We review articles when new research or guidance is published and update the date shown.
